What You Can Expect From Carrier
SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio), EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) and AFUE (Annual
Fuel Utilization Efficiency) ratings are like your car’s MPG – the higher the number,
the greater the potential for savings. Comfort™ Series packaged air conditioners and
packaged gas furnace/air conditioners offer 14.0 SEER/12.0 EER cooling. The packaged
gas furnace/air conditioner also reaches 81% AFUE heating.
A galvanized steel cabinet and heavy-duty wire coil guard provide superior protection against
dings, dents and other outdoor threats. Our unique cabinet design puts the condensing coil
above ground level and further out of harm’s way. The bottom half of the cabinet is fully
sealed to help keep moisture, leaves, dirt and other potential corrosives out.
Carrier was the first to offer systems with Puron
®
refrigerant, which does not contribute
to ozone depletion. By replacing an older, less efficient packaged product with a
Comfort™ Series packaged air conditioner or packaged gas furnace/air conditioner, you
are reducing energy use and your environmental impact.

Comfort™ Series packaged air conditioners and packaged
gas furnace/air conditioners are covered by a 10-year parts limited warranty upon timely
registration. The limited warranty period is five years if not registered within 90 days of
installation. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration

levels as low as 73 decibels, you can enjoy the comfort with very little background
noise. All models include components that help keep sound levels quiet, including an
